The Centre provides professional assessments and tailored early education and training for children under 6 with hearing impairments or language delays. Our comprehensive approach covers listening, speech, language, physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

We develop personalized training plans for each child, tailored to their unique needs and abilities, focusing on enhancing listening and communication skills through play. Sign language is also utilized as a complementary training tool when necessary.
Our group training sessions aim to bolster the children’s communication, expressive language, and social-emotional regulation skills through interactive play.
Speech therapists conduct professional evaluations for children and provide training in speech, language, articulation, listening and voice for children in need.
We conduct professional assessments and provide customized occupational therapy and physiotherapy based on the individual needs of each student.
Social workers provide parents with educational, counselling and support services. Talks and sharing sessions are also organized for parents to enhance their parenting knowledge and skills.
Service Fees
$148 annually (as stipulated by the Social Welfare Department)
How to Apply
To apply for services, children must be assessed by a Child Assessment Centre under the Department of Health or by a qualified specialist, such as a paediatrician, clinical psychologist, or educational psychologist. These children are then referred to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services. This referral process is typically handled by medical social workers or Integrated Family Services Centres. The Social Welfare Department operates this system and places children on a waitlist for services.
