As the funding from the Hong Kong government mainly focuses on the first implant and operation only, the cochlear implantation and users remain to bear the high maintenance, repair and replacement cost of speech processors and accessories after the operation. With that in mind, The Hong Kong Society for the Deaf has decided to establish Cochlear Implant Charitable Foundation to provide further support those in need. Your donations will be a great support.
