Hearing Impaired Support Network

Objective

The Network was established in 2011 by a group of hearing impaired youths from mainstream school. It aims to gather hearing impaired youths from different mainstream schools. Through a variety of meetings and sharings, we aim to connect and support each other when facing difficulties, and to develop friendship and to grow up through encouraging self-help and mutual support.

• We aim to build an equal platform for hearing impaired youths to get to know each other and to exchange their experience and reflections, in order to realize our mission of “眼在看、心在聽；聽障事、齊分享”.
• We also established various platforms to encourage and enhance the mutual support among hearing impaired youths so they could become self-reliant and cultivate a spirit of self-respect.
• We offer opportunities for our members to organize various social and exchange activities to broaden their horizons and to gain experiences. We seek to develop the leadership qualities and social responsibilities in the youth so they could contribute to the society in the future.

Hearing impaired youth from mainstream schools.

Eligibility

We welcome hearing impaired youth aged 15-45 who are attending or have attended mainstream schools.
