Established in 1968, the Society with a staff force of around 200 people provides a comprehensive range of services to hearing impaired people and their families, in addition to its efforts in public education and early identification of hearing impairment.

Major Duties:

• Lead the audiological service team and direct the clinical, development, operations, administration of the audiology centres to ensure achievement of strategic goals;
• Supervise a team of audiologists, audiology technician(s) /audiometrician(s) and other supporting staff in daily operation;
• Carry out clinical duties and advise on the selection and use of hearing-aids and other appropriate remedial and rehabilitative measures;
• Offer training to subordinates according to professional standards, statutory regulations and service requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or above in Audiology
• Registered Audiologist accredited by the Department of Health
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification working experience, 3 years of which at managerial level
• Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese
