Social & recreational activities are organized for hearing impaired members & their families members at the three service centres of the Society ( North Point, Tseung Kwan O, and uen Mun). The objectives of our service are to enhance the development of self-potentials and social skills, and make the best use of their spare time through various social projects or activities; to encourage members to participate in social and community activities; and to promote the spirit of social integration and set up a harmonious society.
Target Service Users
• hearing impaired persons and their families are welcome.
• the volunteers or public with interests in our services.
Services
To organize various kinds of projects or activities including:
• interest classes (classes in cookery, arts, sign language and
computer skills, etc.)
• social groups (socialization groups, service groups, etc.) &
outdoor & indoor recreational activities (excursions, visiting
projects, and etc.)
• sports competitions of various nature
• talks / programs for public education purpose
• volunteers’ and sign language training programmes
• district-wide or community-wide educational projects
Fees
here will be different charges to programs of various nature. For details, please contact our staff or refer to our newsletter.
