The Society's sign language interpreters assist hearing impaired persons to solve their communication problems with hearing persons.
Our services cover the following areas: court hearing, statement taking, application for legal aid, housing, wedding, job interview, medical consultation, application for passport and driving license.
How to apply
• Appointment for hearing impaired persons can be made via fax,
telephone or in person at Kowloon Centre.
• Appointment requested by government departments and other
organizations can be made either by fax or phone.
• The services will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• All requests for appointment will be replied within two working
days. Other further arrangements will be made with the
applicants if no time for appointment can be fixed.
To withdraw from the service
Applicants should inform our sign language officers either by fax or SMS for cancellation of the service.
