Our adult education service aims at assisting the hearing impaired to receive basic education of diversified nature. 　

Service Target     

Any hearing impaired persons aged 15 or above, not studying in normal full time primary and secondary school. 　

Services     

We provide diversified courses in order to improve the hearing impaired persons’ communication skills, language skills and other basic knowledge. The duration of the courses are generally 3 months, comprising 12 sessions.  A certificate is awarded to those who have more than 80% attendance. Courses provided:

• Computer Courses (basic computer knowledge, the application of basic computer software)
• Sign-language Courses
• Lip Reading Courses
• English Courses
• Chinese Courses
• Applied Psychology

1. Individual tutorial is arranged before or after the course to assist the student to solve their academic problems.
2. Extra-curricular activities are organized for each semester.

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Fee     

Course fee for Computer courses is $90, and $45 for courses other than computer course. (not included the sign-language notes)  

Course Information     

The course information will be printed on our newsletter two months before the course starts. Posters will also be posted on our center.   Application      Any interested hearing impaired persons could apply for the service. Our application is based on First-come, First-serve basis.  

Withdrawal        

Fees are non-refundable once enrollment is confirmed.
